Senior Business Analist | September 2024 - present
HR IT | Integrations| SuccessFactors | Transformations
At KLM, I work as a Senior Business Analyst on various changes within the HR IT landscape. In this role, I bridge the gap between HR, the business, and IT, remaining involved in projects from initial analysis and design through to actual implementation and go-live.
A key part of my work involves modernizing the integration landscape and making it future-proof. I established an integration landscape and subsequently transformed it into an MFT SaaS based integration landscape. In doing so, I focus not only on the technical solution but also on the processes, dependencies, and the impact on the overall landscape.
I also worked on the phase-out of SAP ECC. This involved more than just retiring legacy systems; it was primarily about implementing replacement solutions within the SuccessFactors landscape, ensuring that existing processes and functionalities could continue in a new, future-proof environment. This aligns with my broader responsibility for legacy system phase-outs and the transition to modern solutions.
Additionally, I refreshed and anonymized entire SAP ECC and SAP ECP environments using EPI-USE. I also worked on modernizing security and encryption for HR IT interfaces, ensuring compliance with relevant security, privacy, and regulatory frameworks.
For a period of six months, I also served as Product Owner for a multidisciplinary team of approximately 20 people, where I was responsible for prioritization, delivery, and alignment between the business and IT.
Among other things, here is what I achieved at KLM:
- Setting up and transforming an integration landscape into an MFT SaaS integration landscape
- Phasing out SAP ECC and implementing replacement solutions within the SuccessFactors landscape
- Refreshing and anonymizing complete SAP ECC and SAP ECP environments using EPI-USE
- Modernizing the security and encryption of HR IT interfaces within applicable security, privacy, and compliance frameworks
- Guiding complex HR IT changes from analysis and design through to implementation, go-live, and hypercare
- Six months as Product Owner, responsible for prioritization and delivery within a multidisciplinary team of approximately 20 people
Business Analyst | May 2023 – August 2024
SuccessFactors | GRC | International Releases | HR IT
At Ahold Delhaize, I worked as a Business Analyst within an international HR IT environment. My role involved various changes and projects related to SAP SuccessFactors including Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, HR Connect, and Audit where I collaborated closely with international teams across HR, IT, project management, and the business.
One of my initiatives involved implementing and launching GRC. In this capacity, I analyzed requirements, coordinated with various stakeholders, and guided the solution through to implementation and go-live.
Additionally, I coordinated the semi-annual SuccessFactors releases for multiple countries, including the United States. This entailed assessing the impact of changes, aligning with various international stakeholders, and managing the releases to ensure a controlled implementation.
Beyond delivering new solutions, I focused on improving and simplifying the existing HR IT landscape. This involved phasing out various legacy systems and migrating existing functionalities to other parts of the landscape.
Among other things, here is what I achieved at Ahold Delhaize:
- GRC implemented and brought live
- Semi-annual SuccessFactors releases coordinated for multiple countries, including the United States
- Phased out various legacy systems and contributed to the further modernization of the HR IT landscape
- Changes and projects implemented within Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, HR Connect, and Audit
- Facilitated international coordination between HR, the business, IT, project management, and operational teams
Internationaal Projectmanager | August 2022 – April 2023
SuccessFactors | HR-landscape | Internationale Processes | Alignment
At Athlon International, I worked as an International Project Manager to map out the international HR landscape within SuccessFactors. The goal was to gain insight into the current situation and the interrelationships between various HR processes, systems, and countries.
A key part of my role involved gathering and consolidating information from across the organization. To this end, I collaborated closely with process owners and HR managers, bringing together various processes, requirements, and dependencies.
In addition to creating an overview, I ensured coordination and alignment across different HR processes and disciplines. In doing so, I took into account business needs as well as internal guidelines and relevant laws and regulations.
The result was an international “As-Is” HR landscape that could serve as a foundation for future decisions and developments within SuccessFactors.
Among other things, here is what I achieved at Athlon:
- Mapped out the international 'as-is' HR landscape within SuccessFactors
- HR processes, systems, and interdependencies made transparent
- International coordination organized with process owners and HR managers
- Various HR processes, disciplines, and business needs linked together
- Laws, regulations, and internal policies have been incorporated into the analysis and design of the processes
International HR Project-, Information- & Process Specialist / International Procesmanager | March 2021 – April 2023
HR & Payroll | International Implementation | Process optimization | Data migration
At Zeeman, I worked on the development and international rollout of a new end-to-end HR and payroll solution. Zeeman acted as the launching customer for this initiative, collaborating with SD Worx on the system’s development and optimization.
The solution was deployed across seven countries: the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Austria, and Spain. My role covered a significant portion of the implementation process; I mapped out existing and desired workflows, conducted gap analyses, and was involved in system setup, configuration, and data migration.
Throughout the project, I served as the liaison between HR, IT, and Finance. My responsibilities included addressing issues related to interfaces with local payroll systems, GDPR compliance, and data security. I also helped develop a best-practice implementation approach tailored to the various countries.
My involvement extended beyond the go-live date. I continued to work on process optimization and automation, while also guiding HR and payroll colleagues through the new way of working. Consequently, the project was not merely about implementing a new system, but also about ensuring its successful adoption and integration within the organization.
Among other things, here is what I achieved at Zeeman:
- Helping to develop and implement a new end-to-end HR and payroll solution for seven European countries
- Worked closely with SD Worx as a launching customer on the development and optimization of the new solution
- Mapped 'as-is' and 'to-be' processes and conducted gap analyses
- Managed and executed data migrations from existing to new systems
- The connection established between HR, IT, Finance, and local payroll
- Contributed to a best-practice implementation approach for each country
- HR and payroll processes further optimized and automated following go-live
- Guided and coached HR administration and payroll teams through the change
